The narrative focuses on Wesley Gibson, a disgruntled account manager. Wesley finds out that he is the son of a professional assassin and intends to join the Fraternity. The Fraternity is a gang of super-powered assassins. The Loom produced a death warrant for Wesley, considering him to be an abomination. Paris Fraternity sent The Immortal to murder newborn Wesley, but he failed. Wesley’s mother, Alyse, was shot dead by her lover, Cross, who escaped with the infant unharmed. Wesley didn’t know that Cross killed his mother until the end. Later, Sloan assigns a mission to Cross to murder a member of the Fraternity, The Immortal. Cross engages The Immortal in a dual, but he escapes. Cross discovers that Sloan’s order to kill The Immortal was false. He also finds out a kill order for Sloan and realizes his treachery. By framing, Cross as a rogue assassin, Sloan turns Cross’ comrades against him, and also the Paris Fraternity was looking for him. Having no other choice left, Cross had to flee.

The narrative begins with Wesley experiencing a recurrent nightmare that concludes with a mystery assassin murdering his mother. When he awakens, he discovers that his flat has been broken into by a team of assassins disguised as SWAT officers. The Immortal had sent those assassins to Wesley’s apartment. The Immortal received assistance from the Barcelona Fraternity, which included the Russian, Brummel, and Arana. Wesley, on the other hand, slaughtered them all and then confronted The Immortal at the end. After defeating him, Wesley discovers the truth about his mother’s death. Since Alyse defied the code of the Loom by saving her child, her punishment was death, and Cross did what he had to do.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate’s Gameplay

The gameplay is a third-person cover shooter with the ability to slow time and curve using adrenaline. The graphical layout of the game is really great compared to other games from 2008. The player controls Wesley, but in the flashback sequences, the player controls Cross. Cross’ Fire Eater weapons can curve Shrapnel bullets, which are an explosive variant of ordinary bullets. The player may also utilize additional characters obtained through beating bosses, such as the SWAT captain, the Russian, Brummel, and Arana. The game performs a good job of recreating the movie’s appearance and sound.

Whether you play as Wesley or Cross, you’ll go through identical motions on every linear level. The adversaries alter just superficially, and your approach remains consistent from beginning to end. Take shelter, utilize your bullet-curving talents to kill adversaries, and keep moving forward.

The gameplay progresses swiftly, thanks to a cover system that stresses chaining from one piece of cover to the next, as well as an interface that displays your available cover possibilities. The player can swiftly slip behind a container, leap over it to a wall, and then dive to the safety of another crate. The cover button is really responsive, and it makes the gameplay very smooth.

The gameplay offers some special abilities to the player, like curving bullets, slowing downtime, and few other skills. To use those special abilities, the player requires Adrenaline. The player will have an adrenaline meter, killing an enemy and fills up the adrenaline meter. These special abilities make the game enjoyable and a unique piece of art.
