“The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat” is an isekai anime as the title suggests. It is known as “Ansatsu Kizoku in short. We have seen a variety of isekai anime, where individuals reincarnate as heroes or anti-heroes. They become powerful enough that even nations start to fear them. They are sometimes mages or sometimes swordsmen. Some are just so powerful, they are in a class of their own. But Ansatsu is a bit different.
Ansatsu delivers a protagonist who is a fine assassin who gets a contract from a goddess. It may be the first time that a goddess chooses someone to assassinate the very person who is the hero. Why the goddess does so? Well, that’s the story. But the assassin gets the chance to live like a human rather than a tool. He has to accomplish the target goddess provided. But how he lives depends on him.
Strange and Unique
From the plot itself, this anime is very interesting. It is a world of swords and magic. And the assassin is a master of guns. We can expect a fusion of magic & guns beyond the master level from the character. Because he is the finest of pieces. As usual, along with MC, his girl partners are also badasses. Some great fights are on the way. More than close combat fights, this anime may have long-distance attacks. Long-range attacks are not rare. But we can expect a lot of classic distance fights from this one.
The main factor in an isekai anime is magical escapism into other worlds. Most isekais have some kind of magic in them. Usually, with magic, its companion is either a sword or any other weapon. But this anime gives action through guns run by magic. So the explosive power of the gun multiplies. So the attacks are more dangerous than the normal gun attacks. Remember too, the protagonist reincarnated with his experience and memories. He now is a young boy, but at one time he was the oldest experienced assassin. Some out-of-the-world innovations or actions can be expected there.
The young protagonist will not act like a ‘young’ one. His demeanor will be attractive. We all like when such a character comes out cool and cold. This protagonist is a benign old man with an appearance of a young boy. Strict but kind.
Ansatsu Kizoku release details
The anime series was announced on February 15, 2021. Adapted by Silver Link and Studio Palette. Masafumi Tamura holding the reins of direction, Katsuhiko Takayama in charge of writing and overseeing the scripts. Characters were designed by Eri Nagata and music was composed by Kenichi Kuroda. The series was originally scheduled to premiere in July 2021 got delayed and instead premiered on October 6, 2021.
Now Ansatsu Kizoku has become a part of the isekai collection. With its strange and unique story, a new faction is going to rise among anime fans. It will be mesmerizing and thrilling. Although violence and killing are bad, the world will never get peace without them. When it comes to saving the world, you have to choose and handle a weapon and be ready for it. Here the target is a hero who usually saves the world and the goddess’s aim is to assassinate that very hero. The battle has begun and the outcome will seal the fate of the world.
