An intro to Elden Ring
FromSoftware, Inc. is not well known for its communication but is highly acclaimed for its Role-Playing Games (RPGs). The success of their latest game, Elden Ring, has turned into excitement for the Elden Ring DLC release date.
Elden Ring is an adventure open-world role-playing game from the minds of Hidetaka Miyazaki and author George R.R Martin. Elden Ring has been awarded multiple Game of the Year awards and has been positively received by almost every famous gaming creator.
What little information we have about the Elden Ring DLC!
Thanks to a complimentary DLC that FromSoftware, Inc. issued earlier in December 2022, players may engage in the PvP battles in the Colosseum. This version, which included multiplayer co-op and PvP, required some time to develop. Along with this DLC, the brand-new Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was also unveiled.

What to expect from the Elden Ring DLC
The Core of Elden Ring
The stories of the Elden Ring and Souls-borne games are presented to the player in a non-linear manner. One can spend a lot of time as a player conversing with NPCs and reading their dialogue. In addition, players can undertake side missions or go item searching.
If someone wants to play the game like a simple RPG, min-maxing their builds and leveling up in a specific way; for example, Magic builds or Strength Builds; the game will allow you to do it, and one would not care about the story as much, but they would still enjoy the game.

So, in this format of gameplay where stories weave through item descriptions, NPC lore, and observation of surrounding architecture. DLCs can provide access to what was not known or hinted at in the game previously.
Elden Ring has so many areas which are not been discovered yet, and the lore of many NPCs is yet to be written. Thus, expectations are wide open for what one may receive, but speculation is fun nonetheless.
Speculations and Rumors
Through data-mining and internet rumors, The Elden Ring DLC release date will probably be at the end of this year, around Christmas or earlier next year.
Armoured Core, FromSoftware, Inc.’s latest release will be announced before the DLC as Armoured Core has been confirmed later this year (2023), and probably the Elden Ring DLC will follow up after it. The Elden Ring DLC has taken ample time during the development of the Souls games, and we can expect many tweaks and updates. New Biomes could be accessible; Miquella’s story could have his own story written and maybe even have an ending.
Dates have likely been decided upon as of late Christmas. The hype might die as the game has been pushing minor updates and with patch 1.09 featuring ray-tracing and minor gameplay optimizations.
