Warhammer 40000 Lore (for beginners)

Warhammer 40000 is a sci-fi spin on the original fantasy role-playing game. This game’s events occur in space, in the Milky Way Galaxy. In Warhammer 40000: Boltgun, you play as a Space-Marine who crashes onto Graia, which is where the infernos of Chaos are located. Of course, there are hoards of Chaos allies that you meet immediately. The two main enemies in the game are the Chaos Space Marines and Daemons. To put it as simply as possible, there are people headed by their Emperor and Gods of Chaos. The Emperor’s campaign against the Gods of Chaos is a watershed moment in Warhammer lore. During this war, the Emperor’s mechanical robot troops, also known as the Space Marines, experienced internal problems that resulted in a split. There were loyalists and heretics (those who sided with the Gods of Chaos). This event is essential to the game.

Warhammer 40000: Boltgun Gameplay

The gameplay of Warhammer 40000: Boltgun is that of a classic first-person shooter. There are a lot of loud weaponry and buckets of pixelated blood. It’s a type of game where one can switch their brain to autopilot and simply shoot. One must act immediately, or else they will be surrounded. There is an array of weapons at the player’s disposal. One must use these wisely because they are not all equally efficient for all types of heretics. For those who want to go on a rampage, there is an option that will make the play invulnerable or sets the difficulty to the lowest. The options to choose from are the Grav-Canon, Boltgun, and the classic Chain Sword, with which one can slice the frog monsters into two.

Grav-Canon, as the name suggests, uses the enemies’ gravity against them. It crushes and stuns them. The Boltgun shoots grenades-like bolts that attach the enemy and blasts them into pieces. The game has several types of Boltgun with varying damage rates. There are kits and ammunition across the field, so you will never run out. The Space Marine can handle a considerable amount of damage, so there is no need to shy away from confrontation. There are also entertaining emotes where the Marine exclaims – “For the Emperor!” or “Purge the Heretic!” Players of Doom will fit right in with this game.
